Our Approach

Why we look at the whole body, not just your symptoms

By Michelle — Founder · September 15, 2026 · 4 min read

When someone comes to us with persistent bloating, ongoing fatigue, or hormone changes, the question we ask is never just "what will make this symptom go away?" It's "what is going on upstream that we haven't looked at yet?"

Two traditions, one idea

Our work bridges the philosophies of ancient Chinese Medicine and modern Functional Medicine. They come from very different times and places, but they share a core conviction: the body is one working system, not a collection of independent organs.

That whole-body view matters in practice. Digestion, sleep, energy, hormones, and mood all influence one another. A symptom that shows up in one place often has roots somewhere else entirely.

Testing as a form of listening

We use testing — saliva, urine, blood, or stool — as a way of listening to what your body is telling us. The right test can offer important clues about what is actually driving how you feel, rather than simply confirming that a symptom exists.

Every result gets reviewed with you, one to one, so you understand what we're seeing and why it matters to your plan.

Care shaped around you

Insights from testing come together with Chinese herbs, natural supplements, nutrition, and lifestyle changes. The goal is never a generic protocol — it's a plan that fits your life, your budget, and what your body actually needs.
